St George's Lumina Wall

        In this welcoming entrance wind lobby at St Georges Hospital, Christchurch, NZ, Trengrove Architects (now, Totem Studio Architects), used edge-lit, glass Lumina panels. The transparency as well as the light-emitting properties of the panels were selected to define the entrance with light.

        Back-lit Glass Cascata panels with a frosted finish adorn the ceiling, for a soft, diffuse effect.
