Vision First's offices needed a clear boundary between their public reception zone and a more private core. The space is visible from the street. The solution had to do the work of a wall without feeling like one — something that filtered rather than blocked, that let the quality of the space read from the outside in.

BSA LifeStructures specified Sensitile Lumina panels: two 5' × 10' screens framing either side of the building core, with white LED light delivered through channels at the top and bottom of each panel. The frosted back ensures light emits only toward the public-facing side — the panels glow for the people in the room and for anyone approaching from the street. From a distance, they read as a softly luminous threshold. Up close, the surface reveals something more intricate: thousands of light-conducting points catching and releasing light in a pattern that is simultaneously precise and alive.
